The Press Secretary calls on national mass media to strictly refrain from the broadcasting and dissemination of clearly unauthenticated and spurious information in breach of journalism ethics. He made this statement while speaking at a press conference held today at the President’s Office.
The Press Secretary also added that the propagation of unauthenticated information amounts to impermissible religious innovation and maybe considered as a criminal offence in many instances.
