Vice President Dr. Mohamed Waheed has attended the official Eid banquet hosted by King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia.
At the reception held at the King’s Palace in Mina, the Vice President met with Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and other senior officials of the Saudi government. At the meeting, the Vice President expressed his gratitude to the government of Saudi Arabia for their hospitality extended to the Maldivian pilgrims.
The reception was also attended by the President of Comoros, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Prime Minister of Mozambique, and dignitaries of other Islamic countries.
