President Mohamed Nasheed has today visited Fuvahmulah to observe the preparations underway for the upcoming SAARC Summit.
During his visit, the President toured the “Bandaara Kulhi” wetland, and the Cultural Village where traditional activities are to be demonstrated during the SAARC Summit retreat. The President also visited the newly established Fuvahmulah Airport today.
President Nasheed later attended the final match of the SAARC Twenty20 Cup 2011, held at the Fuvahmulah Cricket grounds.
