President Makes Senior Government Appointments

President Mohamed Nasheed has appointed Ms Aishath Velezinee as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

The President has also appointed Mr Abdul Hameed Abdul Kareem as the Under Secretary at the President’s Office. Mr Hameed, previously held the post of Deputy Under Secretary at the President’s Office.
