The Cabinet, in its meeting today, has finalized the transition of all government IT professionals to the National Centre for Information and Technology (NCIT).
At the meeting, the Cabinet concurred for all government IT professionals to be transferred and for all technician level staff that handles everyday Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) purposes to be retained by their respective departments.
Today’s meeting of the Cabinet was chaired by Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed as President Mohamed Nasheed is currently on an overseas official visit
