Chinese Ambassador pays Farewell call on President Nasheed

Ambassador of China to the Maldives, Yang Xiuping has paid a farewell call on President Mohamed Nasheed this afternoon.

At the meeting held at the President’s Office, the President expressed his gratitude to the ambassador, for all her constructive services provided to the Maldives during her tenure. The President also conveyed his hopes to further strengthen the close mutual relations the two countries held.

Ambassador Xiuping assured President Nasheed that the Chinese government would offer their continuous assistance in the preparations and during this year’s SAARC Summit.
