President establishes “Maldives Land Survey Authority”

President Mohamed Nasheed has established the “Maldives Land Survey Authority”.

This authority will be administered by Ministry of Housing and Environment.

“Maldives Land Survey Authority” was established to realise the need for a separate agency to conduct surveys and collect and update information on the most beneficial use of lands, lagoons and reefs of the Maldives.
