Amir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani has said that Qatar would continue its assistance to the Maldives in economic and trade areas. He made this statement during his meeting with President Nasheed. The meeting was held this evening at the Permanent Mission of Qatar.
During the meeting, discussions were focused on the close bilateral ties that exist between the Maldives and Qatar.
The Amir also said he was confident that an economic and trade agreement could be signed between the Maldives and Qatar.
