President Mohamed Nasheed has this morning opened the Maldives International Badminton Challenge 2011.
In his remarks to declare the tournament open, the President congratulated the organizers and sponsors for successfully organizing the tournament and wished players success.
A total of 129 players from 29 countries participate, including 30 players from the Maldives, participate in this year’s tournament.
This is the second installment of the Maldives International Badminton Challenge.
