President Accepts Adam Manik’s Resignation from the Post of the President of Malé Municipality

 

President Mohamed Nasheed thanked Mr Adam Manik for his valuable service to the government, the country, especially for the people of Malé during his tenure as the President of Malé Municipality, in the letter he sent to Mr Manik accepting his resignation.

 

The President, in his letter, noted that Mr Manik was one of the architects of ‘Veshi Fahi Malé’ programme, which is aimed at decongesting Malé, providing affordable housing, and addressing the social problems that arise in Malé.

 

Further, the President’s letter emphasized that Mr Manik was also an instrumental part of Greater-Malé Development Programme, one of the real visions of ‘Aneh Dhivehi Raajje’ – the Other Maldives.
