Former President of Seychelles Sir James Mancham calls on the President

Sir James Mancham, former President of Seychelles, has called on President Mohamed Nasheed this afternoon.

Sir James Mancham thanked the President for meeting with him during his stay in the Maldives. He also expressed his confidence that the Maldives would reach greater development and prosperity during the tenure of President Nasheed.

The President welcomed Sir Mancham to the Maldives. President Nasheed and Sir James Mancham also discussed on ways of strengthening the banking system in the Maldives.

Sir James Mancham also visited the Maldives in 2005, during which he was the chief guest of the Maldivian Democratic Party’s first national congress.
