Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed has said that communication officers play a crucial role in the dissemination of information to the public. He made this statement while addressing the participants of the training programme for communication officers being held at the President’s Office.
Speaking on the important work of communication officers, Dr Waheed emphasised the importance of creating awareness among the people about the various services available to them and how those services are being provided.
Focusing on the importance of maintaining transparency, Dr Waheed called on the information officers to sustain consistency when delivering the same message.
