President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed have arrived in HA. Utheemu to officiate the National Day 1448 celebrations. They were warmly received by the island’s residents upon arrival.
During their visit, the President and First Lady are scheduled to participate in several activities to commemorate National Day, including the inauguration of “Bodu Thakurufaanu Dhorashi”, launch of “Vaahaka Vau”, and attending the official National Day ceremony in Utheemu.
The official ceremony will include the conferrment of the Presidential Honour for Distinguished Service to the Nation of Maldives on Utheemu residents. Additionally, National Award of Honour and National Award of Recognition will also be presented to the respective recipients at the ceremony.
