His Excellency Sheikh Rahma bin Abdulrahman Alshamsi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Maldives, paid a farewell call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu this morning. The call was held at the President’s Office.
During the call, the President expressed his sincere appreciation for the Ambassador’s substantial support throughout his tenure, highlighting the progress achieved in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The President reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining close collaboration with the Government of the United Arab Emirates and expressed optimism about the continued enhancement of bilateral ties in the months ahead. In turn, the Ambassador commended the notable progress and development achieved by the Maldives since the commencement of the current Administration.
The call concluded with both sides reiterating their shared commitment to further strengthening the longstanding ties between the Maldives and the UAE.
