President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has congratulated the Maldivian athletes who won gold and silver medals at the Zambia International 2025 badminton tournament, extending his best wishes through a message posted on his official X account.
Representing the Maldives, Fathimath Nabaha Abdul Razzaq and Hussain Zayan Shaheed Zaki won the gold medal in the Mixed Doubles event, securing their second Badminton World Federation (BWF) title as a pair.
In the Women's Doubles category, Fathimath Nabaha Abdul Razzaq and Aminath Nabeeha Abdul Razzaq claimed a silver medal.
