President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has declared Sunday, 2 November 2025, a Government holiday.
The announcement was made today through a Directive issued by the President’s Office.
The decision was made to ensure that employees are entitled to uninterrupted leave during holidays, as Victory Day is observed as a public holiday.
