His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended warm greetings to the President of the United States of America, His Excellency Donald J. Trump, the government, and the people of the United States on the occasion of the country’s 249th Independence Day.
In a post shared via his official X account, President Dr Muizzu wished the American people continued freedom and progress.
In his message, President conveyed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the Government and people of the Maldives. He noted that as the United States celebrates this milestone, the Maldives also looks forward to marking 60 years of diplomatic relations, a reflection of the strength and longevity of their partnership.
President Dr Muizzu reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and expressed confidence that ties between the two countries will continue to grow in the years ahead.
