President’s Office opens public video submissions for “Raeesge Javaab” series

The President’s Office has invited the public to submit video questions for the “Raeesge Javaab” series.

“Raeesge Javaab” is a social media series in which the President regularly responds to questions from the public.

Recorded submissions can be uploaded via the Citizen’s Voice portal at https://citizensvoice.gov.mv or directly through the President’s Office website.

The President will begin answering questions from the portal this weekend.

Originally launched in February 2024, the series featured the President responding to public questions via video. At the time, a media team from the Office facilitated submissions by engaging directly with citizens.

However, this approach primarily targeted residents of the Greater Malé region, placing those in other parts of the country at a disadvantage. To ensure fair representation, the series was temporarily suspended until an inclusive solution was implemented.

Following extensive work to enhance accessibility, the series has now been re-launched. The updated portal enables all citizens to submit video questions to the President at any time, ensuring a more inclusive platform for public engagement.
