President Dr Mohamed Muizzu departed on Sunday afternoon to visit all inhabited islands of South Nilandhe Atoll.

During his three-day visit, the President is set to meet with the Atoll and Island Councils, Women’s Development Committees, and heads of various island institutions. He will also launch key development projects and inaugurate recently completed initiatives.

The President's visit to all inhabited islands of South Nilandhe Atoll aligns with his commitment to engage with the people, assess their needs, and visit every island twice during his term. During these visits, he has met with nearly all island councils, except one, to discuss the development needs of the islands.

The President is accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials.

The President is set to return to Malé City on Tuesday after completing his visit to all islands in South Nilandhe Atoll.
