Vice President His Excellency Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef attended the plenary session of the World Governments Summit 2025 held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The World Governments Summit 2025, themed 'Shaping Future Governments,' brings together global governments, international organisations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders. It facilitates collaboration, explores innovative solutions to future challenges, and empowers the next generation of governments.
The summit focuses on shaping a better future for humanity, highlighting six key objectives. Those are effective governance and accountability, financing the future and the global economy, climate crisis mitigation and resilient cities, human-centric futures and capacity building, global health transformation, and emerging frontiers and the future.
The summit takes place from February 11-13, during which the Vice President is scheduled to deliver a statement at the Climate Change Forum.
