President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the Molhadhoo Island Council, the Women's Development Committee (WDC), and heads of institutions to address the island's most essential developmental needs. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Molhadhoo School.

During the meeting, the Molhadhoo Council raised concerns with the President about the absence of water and sewerage systems, limited space in schools and council buildings, and ongoing coastal erosion. They highlighted the urgent need for a new health centre, noting that the existing facility had not been renovated for many years. The Council also called for the establishment of a futsal ground, volleyball court, children's park, and a youth and community centre to enhance community facilities on the island.

During the meeting, the President assured that efforts would be made to address the issues raised by the council members. He was accompanied by ministers, along with representatives from the Women's Development Committee and institutional heads, who provided the latest updates on the concerns discussed.
