The Vice President arrives in China to attend the 'Third China-Indian Ocean Region Forum on Blue Economy Development Cooperation'

Vice President His Excellency Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has arrived in China, on an official visit to participate in the 'Third China-Indian Ocean Region Forum on Blue Economy Development Cooperation.'

Upon arrival at Kunming Changshui International Airport, the Vice President was received by Mr Luo Hongjiang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of People's Congress of Yunnan Province, Ms Tang Ying, Head of the Global Development Promotion Center of CIDCA and Mr Wang Wei, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Yunnan Province.

The Vice President’s visit to Kunming, Yunnan Province, is to attend the forum the Maldives is co-hosting, scheduled from December 15-17, organised by the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA).
