President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the ADh Mandhoo Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) to discuss key issues related to the island's development. The meeting took place on Saturday evening at the ADh Dhangethi Council Secretariat.

At the meeting, the Council noted the lack of developmental projects carried out in the island in the past years, appealing to the President to carry out more developmental projects in the island. The Council members noted the necessity of increasing more classrooms in the island school, upgrading the health centre of the island, as well as the provision of ATM services. They also appealed to the President to broaden transport networks, granting easier travel for residents to Male’.

The President assured the Council that the issues raised would be addressed promptly, adding that the Administration has begun expanding ATM services across the nation.
