President Dr Mohamed Muizzu assured the Island Council of Fenfushi in South Ari atoll, that key concerns raised regarding developmental efforts in the island, shall be addressed. He made this statement at the meeting with the members of Fenfushi Island Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC), held at the Dhan’gethi Island Council Secretariat.
Concerns raised include challenges in docking vessels and the absence of a purpose-built area for preparing the deceased. The council also requested the development of an additional volley court and the completion of the water and sewerage project.
Cabinet Ministers accompanying the President shared details regarding ongoing developmental projects in Fenfushi.
At the meeting, the President assured that the concerns shall be addressed in order of preference.
