President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended condolences to the family of Late Abdul Majeed Mahir. In a post on his official 'X' account, the President described the late Abdul Majeed Mahir as a respected, caring, and honourable citizen of the Maldives.
In his social media post, the President expressed deep sadness upon learning of the passing of Abdul Majid Mahir.
The Late Abdul Majeed Mahir, who served as president of the Municipal Council and held prominent roles in several government departments, was a respected figure. He was not only a Maldivian traditional medicine expert but also a cherished father who ensured that today's generation remained connected to the history and traditions of the Maldives.
President Muizzu sought solace for the bereaved family during this difficult time. The President concluded his message by praying to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the Late Abdul Majeed Mahir's soul eternal peace in Jannah.
