President His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended congratulations to Her Excellency Claudia Sheinbaum following her historic election as the first female President of the United Mexican States.
In a letter to President Sheinbaum, President Dr Muizzu noted that the electoral victory signifies the confidence placed by the people of Mexico in her visionary leadership towards the country’s future. President Dr Muizzu further expressed optimism for strengthening the existing bilateral cooperation between the Maldives and Mexico as the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations approaches next year.
The President concluded his letter with well wishes for President Sheinbaum and the people of Mexico.
