President His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu extended felicitations on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the China-Maldives Friendship Bridge, inaugurated on 30th August 2018.
In a post shared on the social media platform 'X', the President noted that this remarkable feat of engineering not only connects our islands but also symbolises the enduring partnership and mutual trust between the two great nations. He further stated the bridge continues to be a testament to the shared vision of progress, unity, and prosperity between the two countries.
Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and China were established on October 14, 1972.
