President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed members to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) on Tuesday morning. The ceremony to present the letters of appointment was held at the President’s Office.
At today’s ceremony, the President appointed the Speaker of Parliament, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, as a member of the JSC, and the Member of Parliament from the Maafushi constituency, Hussain Riza Adam, to represent the Parliament at the JSC.
The Honorable Supreme Court Justice, Dr Mohamed Ibrahim, administered the oath of office. After the oath-taking ceremony, the President presented the official letters of appointment to the newly inducted members.
