President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the F. Magoodhoo Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) members to discuss the island's most pertinent concerns and development priorities. The meeting took place at Magoodhoo Island’s Fenaka Office.

At the meeting, the Council expressed concern over the stalled construction of Magoodhoo Airport. They also emphasised the need to start construction on the school's multipurpose hall and science lab as soon as possible. Additionally, the members highlighted upgrades to the football field and the construction of a new council administration office building as crucial concerns. The Council urged the President to complete the island's development initiatives promptly. The members of the WDC also discussed their struggles due to budgetary constraints.

Noting the Government's priorities in ensuring development, the President assured the Council that the Magoodhoo Airport and other development projects would be continued and completed without interruption. Furthermore, he highlighted that development initiatives beyond the Council requests were underway.
