President Dr Mohamed Muizzu departed on an official visit to several islands in North Nilandhe Atoll this evening.
During this visit, the President is scheduled to visit various islands in the Nilandhe Atoll, where he will discuss community priorities and developmental needs with councils, Women's Development Committees (WDCs), and residents.
Throughout the ongoing series of visits initiated this year, the President has convened with a total of 162 councils across the Maldives. His objective is to personally visit each inhabited island in the country at least twice over the course of his five-year term.
