The President meets with the Meemu Kolhufushi Island Council and WDC members: Council members voice their developmental needs to the President

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Kolhufushi Island Council members and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) at the Secretariat of M. Mulah Island Council.

The members emphasised the need for road construction and connecting water, electricity, and sanitation networks to the newly constructed housing units on the island. They further conveyed the need to develop tourism on the island.

In response, the President stated that the Administration would examine the issues raised by the members. The Ministers in attendance offered the latest updates on the Government's efforts to resolve the issues raised by the Council.
