President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has met with the M. Muli Isalnd Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) to discuss their most pertinent developmental needs. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the M. Mulaku Council Office this afternoon.

During the meeting, the Council raised concerns regarding the insufficient electricity and sewage services on the island. Additionally, they deliberated on potential enhancements for the education, health, and tourism sectors. The Council also made a request for the construction of housing units and suggested the inclusion of Boahuraa Island under the jurisdiction of Muli Island, seeking Government assistance to leverage the island's resources. Furthermore, they expressed a keen desire to transform Muli into an urban center, aiming to create income opportunities for the residents.

During the meeting, the President affirmed that the Administration would address the concerns raised by the council. He provided the latest updates on the issues raised by the Council through the Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials present.
