President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has met with the Mulaku Atoll Council and discussed the developmental plans for the atoll. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Mulaku Island Council this afternoon.
During the meeting, the Council emphasised the necessity of enhancing healthcare services at the atoll hospital and advocated for the creation of a dedicated picnic island within the atoll. Additionally, they underscored the importance of installing ATM services in the densely populated islands of the atolls, and expressed a keen interest in improved transportation options to Male' City. The Atoll Council also urged authorities to accelerate the completion of ongoing resort projects and promptly complete the construction of the fish harbour.
During the meeting, the President affirmed that the Administration would address the concerns raised by the Council. He provided the latest updates on the issues raised by the Council through the Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials present.
