President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Baa Atoll Kudarikilu Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) and deliberated on their most pertinent developmental needs. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Baa Kendhoo Island Council.
At the meeting, Council Members highlighted the urgency of addressing the land erosion issue, challenges in managing the sanitation network, space constraints at the Council Secretariat, and the need for a new mosque. The Kudarikilu WDC members expressed the need for dedicated space for committee activities, and their desire for the provision of borrower-friendly loans.
Speaking at the meeting, the President affirmed that developmental initiatives would align with the aspirations of the people. He reassured the Council and WDC members of the Administration's commitment to alleviating their hardships.
