President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has assured to address the concerns presented by the Rasmaadhoo Island Council for the improvement of the island's development. He made these remarks during his meeting with the R. Rasmaadhoo Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the Secretariat of R. In'guraidhoo Council.
During the meeting, Rasmadhoo Council emphasised the pressing need for housing flats, challenges in providing electricity, the installation of drainage systems, and the necessity to construct high-quality modern roads, along with swift measures for coastal protection. The Council also underscored the significance of promoting the socio-economic development of the island.
During the meeting, the Ministers accompanying the President shared the latest updates on the issues raised by the Council. The President further reiterated his commitment to addressing the Council's concerns.
