President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the HA. Kelaa Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the Sheikh Ibrahim School, Kelaa.

During the meeting, the Council highlighted the major concerns of the community, and the top priorities for the island's development. These include the need to improve the island's harbour and the development of agriculture on the island.

Additionally, the Council Members urged the swift completion of projects initiated by the previous Administration and those planned by the current Administration. The members also requested initiating housing projects on the island.

During the meeting, members of the Kelaa WDC raised concerns regarding the allowance for overtime and budgetary constraints.

Speaking at the meeting, President Dr Muizzu reiterated his commitment to fulfill all pledges and address the challenges outlined by the Council. The attending Ministers also provided updates on the Government's initiatives in response to the Council's concerns.
