The Chairman of China Metallurgical Group Corporation pays a courtesy call on the President

The Chairman of China Metallurgical Group Corporation, Mr. Chen Jianguang, paid a courtesy call on H.E. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu today.

During the meeting, the Chairman congratulated the President on a successful state visit to China and briefed him on the company’s milestones. He additionally provided information on the ongoing projects carried out in the Maldives and expressed wishes to further cooperate and contribute more to the Maldives’ development.

He also expressed confidence in the Maldivian economy’s future during President Dr Muizzu’s Administration and commended his visionary economic development plan.

At the meeting, the President briefed the Chairman on his Administration’s upcoming projects, including his vision to promptly implement development projects, and expressed hope for further cooperation.

The President and the First Lady are currently undertaking a state visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of H.E. Xi Jinping, the President of China. A high-level delegation is accompanying the President and the First Lady on this visit.
