President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Maldivian community residing in Beijing today.
At the meeting, President Dr Muizzu expressed delight in having the pleasure of meeting locals while abroad. He engaged with the Maldivian community, predominantly composed of students, to gain insights into their experiences and challenges while residing abroad.
The President underscored the significance of capitalising on the opportunities to pursue higher education in foreign countries. He also assured the local community of the Administration's commitment to seeking solutions to their concerns.
The President was accompanied by First Lady Sajidha Mohamed and a delegation of senior government officials.
The President and the First Lady are currently undertaking a state visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of H.E. Xi Jinping, the President of China. A high-level delegation is accompanying the President and the First Lady on this visit.
