The Managing Director and senior officials of the Hunan Construction Investment Group pay courtesy call on the President

Mr Cai Dianwei, Managing Director of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), and senior officials from the HCIG paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Muizzu this evening.
During the meeting, the Managing Director of the HCIG gave a brief overview of the company and briefed the President on some of their projects. He expressed eagerness to further enhance cooperation with the Maldives, including increasing people-to-people interaction.

President Dr Muizzu noted that he looked forward to further cooperation between the Maldives and China and assured the Administration’s full support.
The President and the First Lady are currently undertaking a state visit to the People’s Republic of China. A high-level delegation is accompanying the President and the First Lady on this visit.
