Senior officials of the China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) paid a courtesy call on H.E. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu today.

During the courtesy call, the officials extended a warm welcome to President Dr Muizzu upon his visit to China.

Speaking at the meeting, the President underscored the significance of China as a valued ally and an integral collaborator in the developmental journey of the Maldives. He expressed aspirations to enhance bilateral relations to new heights and enhance collaborative efforts in various areas of mutual interest.

The officials expressed profound gratitude for the enduring support the CCCC has received from the Maldives over the years. They also expressed their keen interest and commitment to contribute to the development initiatives in the Maldives.

Concluding the call, the officials expressed an optimistic vision for a future filled with prosperity and vibrancy for the Maldivian administration. Concurrently, President Dr Muizzu reaffirmed the Administration’s unwavering commitment to nurturing and enhancing the economic and commercial ties between the two nations.

The President and the First Lady are currently undertaking a state visit to the People’s Republic of China. A high-level delegation is accompanying the President and the First Lady on this visit.
