The first meeting of the Social Council chaired by Vice President Uz. Hussain Mohamed Latheef was held this morning at the President’s Office.
During the meeting, Social Council members reviewed the distribution of commitments outlined in the 'Hafuthaa 14' roadmap, analysing the division of responsibilities between the President's Office and various ministries.
Discussions also centered on strategic planning for effective implementation of the roadmap. 'Hafuthaa 14' encompasses a total of 161 pledges, with 61 specifically addressing the social sector. During the meeting, ministers from different ministries provided the Social Council with the latest updates on their efforts to fulfil the commitments outlined in the 'Hafuthaa 14' roadmap.
