Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Commission of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Information and Media of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and President of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Suos Yara, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef. The meeting took place on Saturday at the President’s Office.
H.E. Suos Yara congratulated the Vice President on his assumption of office, and the Vice President thanked him for his visit to the Maldives.
They spoke on various bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest, including the significance of adopting a universal peace charter and strengthening networking relations in peace and tolerance. The President of the International Parliament of Tolerance and Peace additionally encouraged the Maldives to collaborate on promoting peace and tolerance.
During the meeting, they also discussed enhancing existing cooperation and improving future cooperation in tourism cooperation, food security, cultural connectivity, and the significance of establishing direct flights between the two countries.
