President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visited Kurendhoo Island in Lhaviyani Atoll on Thursday to celebrate the completion of infrastructure projects initiated by his administration. During his visit, the President marked the completion of the coastal protection project and inaugurated the newly developed powerhouse and FENAKA office.

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) completed the coastal protection project, which entailed the installation of 822 metres of revetment and 361 metres of breakwater. The newly opened FENAKA office, strategically situated, is a spacious and modern facility that can house numerous personnel.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has achieved significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
