President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the newly developed harbour and volleyball court on Tuesday on Kihaadhoo Island in Baa Atoll. The President marked the completion of these projects during his ongoing visit to the islands of Baa Atoll.
MT Højgaard Pvt. Ltd. completed the harbour development project, which included dredging, the installation of a 231-metre gravel bed, a 209-metre revetment, and a 326-metre quay wall, as well as additional works related to the harbour development project. President Solih also inaugurated the modern volleyball court on the island, which was contracted to Brilliant Company Pvt. Ltd.
Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
