President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih officially inaugurated on Tuesday the newly completed infrastructure projects on Thulhaadhoo Island in Baa Atoll. These projects include coastal protection, 100 housing units, and the FENAKA office. The President inaugurated these projects during his ongoing visit to the islands of Baa Atoll.

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) completed the coastal protection project. The project features a 140-metre geotextile bag (geobag) revetment and a 30-metre geobag groyne installation. The 100 housing units were developed by a joint venture between Precision Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. and Flexin Pvt. Ltd. These are three-bedroom apartments.

The new FENAKA office, inaugurated by President Solih today, is a modern building featuring a lobby, manager's room, meeting room, guest room, and pantry.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
