President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated on Monday the completion of infrastructure development projects on Goidhoo Island in Baa Atoll. These projects include the island's water supply and sewerage network, a skate park, and a volleyball court. The President marked the completion of these projects during his ongoing visit to the islands of Baa Atoll.
The Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) was contracted to develop the water supply and sewerage network. With the completion of residential connections, service delivery has been initiated. Maldives Assure Supply developed the volleyball court on the island as part of the administration's focus on developing sports infrastructure. Brothers Mall was contracted to develop the skate park, which is popular among the youth on the island.
Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
