President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the completion of several infrastructure projects on Dhaandhoo and Kolamaafushi Islands in Gaafu Alifu Atoll on Thursday. These projects include the water supply network on Dhaandhoo Island, the FENAKA Office, and the volleyball court on Kolamaafushi Island. The completion of these projects marks a significant step forward in the development of these islands.

The water supply network on Dhaandhoo Island was contracted to Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd. The newly constructed FENAKA Office on Kolamaafushi Island features modern facilities, including a reception area, manager's room, and meeting room, and can accommodate up to 50 staff members. The government funded the development of the volleyball court on Kolamaafushi Island.

Under the leadership of President Solih, the administration has made significant strides towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
