President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated on Monday the completion of a harbour upgrading project and a water and sewerage network on Rinbudhoo Island in Dhaalu Atoll. These projects were completed as part of President Solih's ongoing visit to the atoll, during which he is marking the completion of various developmental initiatives.
The harbour, constructed by Heavy Force Pvt. Ltd., included the construction of a 367-metre outer sea wall and an 82-metre revetment. Altec Maldives Pvt. Ltd. built the island's water and sewerage networks. During the visit, the President also opened a jetty developed on the island by Sun Siyam Cares.
Under the leadership of President Solih, the administration has made significant strides towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
