President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the new extension building of the healthcare centre on Vashafaru Island and the new football ground on Dhidhdhoo Island in Haa Alifu Atoll on Thursday. The inauguration ceremonies were held on the respective islands during the President's visit to the Haa Alifu Atoll islands.

The extension building of the healthcare centre on Vashafaru Island was constructed by Perfect Malafehi Maldives Pvt. Ltd. The new wing features a public health unit offering preventive and promotive health services, an administrative space for managing and coordinating healthcare staff, a medical store ensuring the availability and quality of essential medicines and supplies, and a laundry room.

The football stadium on Dhidhdhoo Island, inaugurated by the President today, is equipped with turf and modern amenities. The opening of this stadium reflects the administration's commitment to promoting sports and healthy lifestyles among the youth.

Under the guidance of President Solih, the administration has made significant strides towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives.
