President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the completion of development projects on Ihavandhoo, Maarandhoo, and Thakandhoo Islands in Haa Alifu Atoll on Wednesday. These inaugurations were part of the President's tour of the atoll and were carried out by the administration.
On Ihavandhoo Island, President Solih inaugurated a football ground developed with turf and modern amenities. He then visited Maarandhoo Island and inaugurated the newly developed FENAKA Office, which is modern, spacious, and can accommodate 30 staff members. The President's next stop was Thakandhoo Island, where he inaugurated a newly developed volleyball court.
The administration has implemented various initiatives to provide modern football grounds, futsal fields, and sports courts across the atolls. These efforts aim to promote healthy and active lifestyles among young people and foster the development of local athletic talent.
